I think the most amazing thing about incidents like this is that the “communications team” is somehow oblivious to the notion that these stories will not remain “within the cubicle” but will invariably make it out into the blogosphere, compouding the problem and making them look like even bigger idiots to an even wider audience.
I wonder if they’re tracking their CGM coverage and what the reports are saying 🙂
