New Zealand’s very own version of eBay – TradeMe – was sold today to Fairfax for… wait for it…. $700m. This sets a new bar for a NZ tech/consumer company and resets the valuation of many companies in the market. It’s an awesome result for a bunch of very smart and innovative guys.
